Dear Watershed Allies,

Thank you to all of the organizations and concerned citizens who have participated thus far in our Water Quality Improvement Plan workshops and consultation committee meetings.

In addition, we’d like to thank you for providing your input to the San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board on the first drafts for the San Dieguito, Los Peñasquitos, and Mission Bay/La Jolla Water Quality Improvement Plans. These draft plans identify each watersheds’ priority pollutants, sources and potential strategies for addressing those pollutants and included your input.

As we enter the second phase of our two year development process, we need additional public input and ideas to help us determine the goals and strategies for addressing the highest priority water quality conditions in each watershed.

Public workshops have been scheduled for the Mission Bay/La Jolla Watershed according to the schedule below:

Mission Bay/La Jolla Watershed happens Monday, July 21st
CITY OF SAN DIEGO METRO OPERATIONS CTR
9192 Topaz Way
San Diego, CA 92123
6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.

We look forward to meeting you at the workshop and appreciate your continuing interest to help develop new strategies for improving water quality in our region’s creeks, rivers, and ocean.

Please help get the word out by sending this invitation to any community groups, businesses or residents that may be interested in attending.
