Thank you to our 65 wonderful volunteers at today’s Rose Creek cleanup in partnership with I Love a Clean San Diego and We Clean Trails in honor of Earth Day. Together we were able to divert 1706.5lbs of litter from Rose Creek.
Big thank you to the San Diego Wave Football Club for sending such amazing volunteers, to Council President Pro Tem LaCava and team for helping out, Garbo Grabber for outfitting us with the BEST cleanup gear, New England Castings for providing the trash bags and gloves, and of course to all our other volunteers who graciously spent their morning with us.

We Cleans Trails is a community partner of the Friends of Rose Creek. We Clean Trails does community cleanups most Saturday mornings starting at 9:00 am. They announce each week’s cleanup by Wednesday every week. Follow them on Instagram.
