In the spring of 2021 UCSD students in the Native California History Class of Professor Ross Frank created this beautiful guide for the Native Plant Garden at Barona Indian Charter School. We would like to thank Paige Love, Samantha Rome, Linnea Hilderbrand and Cera Reyes for their work in making this guide and for making it accessible to the Barona Community and the general public.
The guide not only has the native plants, but also the plants’ Kumeyaay names and traditional uses.
