Join the Friends of Rose Creek, I Love A Clean San Diego, and San Diego Coastkeeper from 8:30 AM until noon for Coastal Cleanup Day. This year Rose Creek is going to be the media site for all of San Diego County so we have lots of surprises in store for you. Pizza, Ice Cream and much more. We’ll need you to arrive at 8:30 AM as it will take you 10 minutes to get to the staging area from the parking lot and/or bus stop. Take bus #30 to Mission Bay High School and follow the signs or park in the student parking lot at Grand Avenue and Lee Street.
I Love A Clean San Diego and San Diego Coastkeeper will be on hand to share with print and TV media the critical work we are doing and gain exposure for the plight of Rose Creek. All volunteers will receive a free ticket to ride the roller coaster in Belmont Park.

If you don’t register ahead of time, please show up at 8:30 AM the day of the event. Dress sharp as you may end up as the face of Coastal Cleanup Day on the news.
Please wear close-toed shoes, long pants and adults should wear long sleeves. Bring your own heavy duty work gloves. If you have a small wagon, bring it along as you will need it to lug the often heavy stuff you pick up for a quarter mile or more. Bring a reusable water bottle with you if at all possible.
