Flyer for spring equinox bird walk. Details in text in event.Celebrate the Spring Equinox three days early (actual date/time is March 19th at 8:06 PM PT) and enjoy the return of daylight savings time as we explore the birds along Rose Creek in the evening.

The lower of the two daily high tides takes place around 7 PM so we shall see the water coming in and the change of species in the lower and upper salt marsh.  The native plants should be in full bloom!

ROSE CREEK is a birding hot spot in the north east corner of Mission Bay. Check out the latest sightings on eBird. A treasure in Pacific Beach, the creek and salt marsh is popular with Bikers on the East side, a quiet, shaded walking path on the West side.

Once a month, on Saturday, Friends of Rose Creek lead a Guided Bird Walk along the Mud Flats, winding Estuary and into the Riparian area full of trees and song birds.
