Join us today for a joint Friends of Rose Creek / We Clean Trails trash cleanup and let’s get the trash out.!
We Clean Trails is a community cleanup organization that aims to reduce the amount of litter in our local communities. Litter can cause soil, water and air pollution and put our animal friends at risk of injury or death. Plastic debris cause the deaths of more than a million seabirds every year, as well as more than 100,000 marine mammals. Learn more at WeCleanTrails.com.
What happens in Rose Creek end up at Mission Bay!
This area is not appropriate for pets or people under the age of 18. We will be picking up trash in areas frequented by our unhoused neighbors. Please wear boots or heavy shoes, long pants, long sleeved shirts and bring your heavy duty gloves. A wagon is also very helpful!
If you have waders or tall rubber boots, bring them along as well!
Please note the only restrooms are at the In’N’Out Burger near our rendezvous point but they do not open until 10:30 AM.
Parking is available on Damon Avenue. Meet us on the grassy area on Damon Avenue in front of the entrance to the In’N’Out Burger.
