Presentation on Shoreline Treatments in Mission Bay Park

The Mission Bay Park Improvements Program EIR Project team will present its findings regarding Restoration of Shoreline for Mission Bay Park at the next meeting of the Mission Bay Park Improvement Fund Oversight Committee.
The meeting will be held:
Tuesday, September 10 at 6 p.m.
 at the Santa Clara Recreation Center,
 1008 Santa Clara Place, San Diego

Learn more about current planning efforts to restore shorelines throughout Mission Bay Park by attending this presentation, which discusses studies conducted by Moffatt & Nichol. Topics include an overview of waves and tidal circulation within the bay, review of the bay-wide shoreline assessment, and potential solutions for restoring shorelines.

Condition assessments will cover:
  • West Sail Bay
  • Crown Point
  • Bonita Cove
  • Ventura Cove
  • Vacation Island (Southwest, Northwest and Ski Beach/Northeast)
  • De Anza Boot and De Anza Cove
Members of the public are invited to attend the presentation and provide community input. If you would like to speak at the meeting, please fill out a Request to Speak form when you arrive. This is a meeting requirement for any member of the public who wishes to make a formal comment before the Committee.
