Pacific Beach Planning Group to Address Rose Creek Parkland

May 23, 2018 - 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM

No Density Increases without Protections for Rose Creek

The Balboa Avenue Station draft Programmatic Environmental Impact Report proposes increasing density in the neighborhood to the east of Rose Creek almost 4 times from the current community plan. The Friends of Rose Creek says NO Density Increase without Protections for Rose Creek. Please come out to insure the Pacific Beach Planning Group requests the City of San Diego dedicate Rose Creek as an open space park and provides park services.

Please attend if you can!

The meeting takes place at Oakmont Pacific Beach. 955 Grand Ave at the corner of Cass Street in Pacific Beach from 6:30-9:30 PM. Once again, we have an advocate for Rose Creek on the Pacific Beach Planning Group. However, we need to show the rest of the planning group that we support her efforts to make sure that Rose Creek is protected and enhanced in both the De Anza and Balboa Transit Station projects.

Action Items on the Agenda include:
• Short Term Vacation Rentals
• De Anza Special Study Area.
• Balboa Transit Station
• Pedestrian/Bike Bridge for Balboa Transit Station.
