Learn how to harvest and store native plant seeds
Join us for an exciting workshop by Kelcy Coleman, Native Seed Library program Coordinator at the San Diego Bird Alliance. She has expertise in harvesting and cleaning native seeds and is eager to share her knowledge.
With deep love for the plants we harvested from Rose Creek, in this workshop we will learn how to clean and properly store the native seeds.Kelcy was born and raised in northern Colorado and graduated from Colorado State University where she explored the mountains, rivers, lakes, sand dunes, and grasslands before discovering the ocean was calling to here. She is passionate about protecting call coastal and marine wildlife and their habitats. She advocates for endangered species and hopes to inspire others to support healthy ecosystems.
