Afternoon Session Details
Each stop will be approximately 30 minutes and we will mostly be walking on paved paths or dirt paths that are flat. Tennis shoes are appropriate. This trip will involved participants being driven between note worthy access points along Rose Creek. It will require getting in and out of a 15 passenger van.
Access to restrooms will be limited as there are no restrooms located at our stopping points. However, we will make a pit stop at a fast food restaurant midway through the tour if anyone wants to use the restroom or grab something to eat.
Please note for the afternoon section, the van will pick you up at De Anza Cove after the morning session’s lunch break that ends by 1 PM. At the end of our exploration of Rose Creek, the van is happy to drop you off at the morning session starting point, Crown Point Shores.
We can also return participants to the Natural History Museum in Balboa Park. As the van will be returning to San Diego International Airport at the end of the Field Trip, participants are welcome to get dropped off at the terminal of their choice.
