Join us for an exciting presentation by Jesh Taucher. Originally from New Zealand, Jesh spent years running Ireland’s only seal rescue with his wife Melanie. In addition to rescuing 170 Grey and Harbor seal pups each year, he founded a habitat restoration project that introduced 34,000 native trees and shrubs into degraded riparian ecosystems to protect water bodies, improved biodiversity, and deepen community engagement with local natural resources.
You won’t want to miss learning about what makes San Diego so unique. Jesh will be speaking on:

Jesh works for San Diego Canyonlands, a nonprofit organization with 17 years of revitalizing natural areas and empowering communities. Through education, volunteerism and equitable workforce development, Canyonlands is breaking barriers for underserved communities, empowering residents to become environmental stewards and lead transformative change.
