Protecting San Diego for Future Generations — learn how the San Diego Chapter of the Sierra Club is protecting habitat via 30×30 and addressing the Climate Crisis
Join the Friends of Rose Creek as we welcome Charles Rilli, Deputy Director of the San Diego Chapter of the Sierra Club, as he fills us in on California’s 30×30 project, which includes lower Rose Creek, and on local efforts to address the climate crisis.
Charles serves on the Otay Valley Regional Park Citizen Advisory Council, the Chula Vista Wildlife Advisory Group, and the Power in Nature Steering Committee for 30×30 in addition to his role at the Sierra Club.

6:00 – 6:30 PM Meet and Greet with light refreshments at UC San Diego’s Henter Eduction Center in Kendall-Frost Marsh Preserve
6:30 – 7:00 PM Presentation by Charles Rilli, Deputy Director of the San Diego Chapterof the Sierra Club,
7:00 – 8:00 PM Friends of Rose Creek Business Meeting open to the public.
~ We meet the First Wednesday of every month @ 6 PM ~
All meetings are open to the public.
Please note that no dogs or other pets are allowed in the Kendall-Frost Marsh. No smoking allowed!
