Our wild places are at risk from Proposition 45
Lisa Ross, San Diego Chapter of the Sierra Club Chair, will be educating us on Proposition 45 – the Corporate Polluting Projects proposition.
What is Prop 45? Backed by oil, utility, and data center developers, Prop 45 limits public input on harmful projects while costing California taxpayers $100 million or more per year and rolls back protections for our natural lands. Nothing in this initiative is about affordable housing.
Lisa Ross is a writer and communications strategist based in San Diego, California. An award winning writer of political commentary, she has participated in shaping public policy in San Diego through advocacy, political campaigning, and grass-roots organizing. She currently serves as Chair of Sierra Club San Diego.
