March to the Marsh

September 20, 2019 - 11:45 AM to 2:00 PM

San Diego

Join ReWild Mission Bay and San Diego 350 on Friday, Sept. 20, as we support the Global Climate Walkout and welcome students from Mission Bay High School at Kendall-Frost Marsh beginning at 12:30 p.m. Kendall-Frost Marsh Preserve is located at the southeast corner of Pacific Beach Dr. and Crown Point Dr. Climate advocates are encouraged to meet at De Anza Cove Park at 11:45 a.m. to begin walking in solidarity to the marsh.

Google Maps isn’t showing the correct location. Meet at De Anza Cove east of Rose Creek.  If you can’t find us, head for the Mike Gotch Bridge and wait there.

Here is the tentative agenda

11:45 a.m. – ReWild advocates meet at De Anza Cove parking lot at Mission Bay Park to begin our walk to Mission Bay High School.

12:15 p.m. – We arrive at Olney St. and P.B. Drive to meet up with Mission Bay High School students, then resume our march to Kendall-Frost Marsh.

12:45 p.m. – We’ll arrive at Kendall-Frost Marsh at P.B. Drive and Crown Point Dr.

1:00 p.m. – Approximate time to begin our event at Kendall-Frost Marsh, at the same site as this year’s Love You Wetlands Day in February. Students need to leave to return to campus by 2 p.m.
