A huge thank you to the over 150 volunteers who cleaned up two miles of Rose Creek and removed over one ton of trash and two hundred pounds of recyclables from our watershed. From Albert Einstein Academy, the too many scout troops to name, all the community members, and the ever hard working University of San Diego students who lent a hand in everything from trash pickup to trash counting, we all pitched in to create a productive day.

Thanks to I Love A Clean San Diego and staff for all their hard work and support in making this event possible. A huge shout out goes to Campland on the Bay for providing volunteers with ice cream at the end of a hard morning’s work. Thanks to the Beach and Bay Press for their great article on the event. Thanks to Richard Thell of thellphotography.com for these amazing photos of volunteers in action.
