The Nature School – Native Plant Garden Maintenance *

Join us for a Valentine’s Day Gardening Extravaganza on Saturday February 14 from 10 AM until 1 PM.

Thanks to bountiful rain in December, the native plant garden and trees are doing great. Unfortunately the weeds are doing just as well. We need 15 people to help with a gardening party. We’ll be weeding, watering and maybe even a bit of planting.

We’ll have snacks, gardening tools and know how. And special Valentine’s day chocolate treats!

All we need is your fingers and arms to get the garden cleaned up. If you need community service hours, come on down and pick up three hours of work and leave with verification in your hands.

If anyone has a pickup truck and would be in to doing a run up to Miramar for mulch, we could use the mulch.

Meet behind the Rose Creek Cottage 2525 Garnet Ave in Pacific Beach. Park on Fogg Street just South of Garnet.

Perfect for community service credit hours. Please wear sunscreen, closed-toe shoes, and a hat. Volunteers should bring water and heavy-duty work or gardening gloves. More information Karin Zirk 858-405-7503 or kzirk@earthlink.net
