From the Summer 2007 Issue: Help Plant Oak Trees Along the Creek – The Friends of Rose Creek and the City of San Diego, Environmental Services are embarking on a joint effort to plant ten native Coast Live Oak, Torrey Pines and other appropriate trees along Rose Creek between Grand Avenue and Garnet. The Friends of Rose Creek has committed to raising $2,000 by November 1, 2007 to purchase the trees. Environmental Services will plant the trees this winter.
